Directions
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Thinly slice the cabbage.
- Mince the garlic.
- Cook and drain the chow mein noodles.
- Measure out the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and water.
- Cook the Cabbage and Garlic:
- Heat a large pan or wok over high heat and add two tablespoons of oil.
- Sauté the cabbage for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds, stirring frequently.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and water to the pan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it cook for 1 minute.
- Combine Noodles and Vegetables:
- Add the cooked noodles and bean sprouts to the pan.
- Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
- Serve: Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with sesame seeds if desired, and serve immediately.
